In a major win for the St Brigid’s School Community, the innovative and creative team at Peddle Thorp have been appointed as the principal consultant architect firm to work with the St Brigid’s Community to greatly enhance the facilities and physical resources at St Brigid’s, Catholic Primary School at McLaren Rd, Nerang.
Speaking at assembly this morning, Mr David Sewell – Principal of St Brigid’s delivered the energising and bold news that very exciting times lie ahead for the students, families and entire community of St Brigid’s. Mr Sewell announced that during the upcoming Christmas holidays the existing Eco Enquiry Building will be transformed into an Arts, Digital Technologies Hub with a Green Screen, as well as acoustic enhancements to the Music rooms and the foyer of the building to make the spaces more conducive to student engagement and creativity. The exterior will receive a contemporary lift and the whole building will be transformed into the inviting hub of learning that it was always planned to be. These enhancements, plus a new name for the building will be ready for the beginning of the 2018 School Year!
Mr Sewell also announced that Peddle Thorp was also beginning work on a new School Master Plan to guide the strategic enhancement and refurbishment of every learning space in the school both interior and exterior.
