St Brigid’s P & F Committee
The current P & F Committee, as voted in the annual AGM, is made up of the following members:

Vice President: Karen Jongbloed
Treasurer: Sarah Donaldson
Secretary: Julie Rollison
Monthly meetings are conducted on the 3rd Wednesday of each month and an invitation is extended to all parents to attend these meetings regardless of whether or not they are on a committee. These meetings begin at 7pm in the staff room and cover a range of topics which include fundraising and planning activities for the school year, as well as allocation of funds to various school departments.
A major responsibility of the P and F is fundraising for the school. Last year these included an Easter Raffle, Spell-a-thon, Bunnings Sausage Sizzle and the Annual Race Day, which is a great day for adults. Other services which we provide, but are not fundraising activities, include hosting various BBQs such as cross country, welcome mass and open day. We also host the disco for Prep-Year 1, and later for Years 2 – 6 as well as holding Mothers Day, Fathers Day and Christmas stalls.
Some of the areas we have been able to contribute to include air conditioning of classrooms, upgrading security systems and purchases of library books, sporting, music, tuckshop and grounds keeping equipment .
We also would like to take this opportunity to request assistance from our parents for help in the uniform shop and the tuckshop. The tuckshop especially requires helpers. Our tuckshop is open on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and assistance is required from 8.30 to help with the lunch bags, all through the day to help serve the children at break times. If you can spare an hour or a day at anytime the tuckshop is open, it would be greatly appreciated.
We look forward to all new and existing parents becoming involved in the school. It is a rewarding and enriching experience, a great way to meet other parents and to learn more about the school.
